I have been in the mental health space for over eight years now. But it wasn't until I broke down in my personal life that I realized I needed help. See, I have all the education and training to help others get through life stresses, but I couldn't see my life issues (specifically lack of self-care) that were causing harm to myself and my family until one day I broke, I was burnt out, I was full of resentment, I was physically and emotionally drained, I felt like I was drowning and sinking fast. At that point, I knew something had to change.

See, I was supermom! I did all the things for my family, friends, and clients. I was the one that everyone counted on. I was the one who never said no (total people pleaser). I took pride in being the best mom, wife, friend, neighbor, and professional (I was an absolute perfectionist in all I did). So, while everyone else was getting their needs met, I neglected myself. When it came time to care for me, I was either too exhausted or found an excuse for not having the time and promised myself I would fit it in later (total procrastinator and total liar). Then, finally, after hitting a place I never wanted to go again, I asked for help (which was not something in my vocabulary before). I have worked with therapists and coaches over the years and learned how to love myself, find my joy, and find my purpose again.
See, I bounced back from being broken and am here to help moms like me bounce back, find their joy and purpose, and learn to love themselves again.
